Why Adopt a French Bulldog Puppy?

Why choose a French Bulldog rather than any other breed of dog, and more specifically, why choose Farmhouse Frenchies? Well, we're a bit biased, but we're so glad you asked! There are numerous qualities that we strive for in the French Bulldogs that we breed, and there are many qualities to this breed that make them an exceptional family pet. Raised right in our home, our puppies are well-socialized, especially with children. We pride ourselves not in just producing healthy purebred French Bulldogs, but in raising them in an environment that brings out the very best in their temperament as a family pet. Not all breeders are alike, and not all of them love their dogs like we do! Have more questions about our puppies? Contact us anytime, we are happy to answer your questions!

Meet our french bulldog parents!

We practice the highest ethical standards when selecting our French Bulldog parents, as well as how they are bred. As a small local breeder, we opt to produce fewer, healthy litters of puppies than overbreeding our dogs putting the health of the puppies and the parents at risk. We love our pups and selected these loving parents for their great genetics, loving personalities, and unique colorations!

Got puppy questions? We've got answers!

If we don't quite answer your Frenchie questions here, feel free to contact us through our website form and we are happy to answer any and all of your questions!

  • Where are you located?

We are located in London, Ohio, which is in the Greater Columbus area!

  • I would like to reserve a puppy! How do I do that?

The first step to reserving one of our French Bulldog puppies is to contact us through our website form. From there, we arrange a time to communicate with you and discuss what you're looking for, as well as when we are expecting our next litters of puppies. From there, you can make a deposit to reserve your puppy and we notify you when the next litter is born!

  • Do I get to choose my puppy?

We might be biased, but all of our puppies are the sweetest cutest puppies ever, so our bet is that you will have a hard time choosing! But, we give you a choice of puppy subject to availability and where you are in line on our Reservation List. When it is your turn to choose and for any reason you aren't in love with your puppy options, you can always choose to wait for the next litter.

  • Can I choose if my puppy is a boy or a girl?

With every litter of French Bulldog puppies, we never know what we are going to get! With that being said, we always do our best to accommodate boy/girl preferences. These options are based on where you are in the Reservation List. If you have a strong preference for a boy or girl and that option isn't available in the current litter, you always have the option to wait for the next litter of puppies.

  • How do I make a deposit for my puppy?

You can make a deposit for your puppy right through our website Contact page

  • Are your french bulldog puppies socialized?

Farmhouse Frenchies goes above and beyond to socialize our puppies. We take them with us on trips around town, our kids help us care for them, and we do everything we can to get them used to being around other dogs, animals, and kids!

  • How old will my french bulldog puppy be when I get it?

Ohio law states that puppies cannot be sold under the age of 8 weeks old. All of our puppies are 8 weeks and older (depending on coordinating you picking them up!) when they go to their forever homes! This law is important for many reasons, particularly for socialization and behavior purposes for the puppy- Spending this time with Mom while also being socialized by our family supports the development of great temperament and affection in our puppies!

  • Will I get instructions from you on how to care for my new French Bulldog puppy?

Absolutely! We give every new puppy parent detailed information on feeding, veterinary care, socialization, training, and more. We give this to you at the time that you receive your puppy but also offer it beforehand if you are interested in having a head start in preparing for your puppy's arrival! Additionally, we are literally here for you for the life of your French Bulldog. You can call us anytime, and we are always here for you!

  • I don't live in Ohio. Can I still get a puppy From you?

Yes! We work with our veterinarian and local airport to coordinate shipping of our puppies. All puppies that are flying must have a health certificate which we acquire for them on your behalf. If you are in a neighboring state, we can also coordinate a meetup to get you your puppy, or you can always make the trip to our Farm!

  • What are your requirements for your French bulldog guardian program?

You MUST be willing and able to follow these requirements:

    • Have previous experience with dogs.
    • Be willing to teach basic commands such as sit, stay, down, off and potty train.
    • Be willing to socialize your french bulldog.
    • She must be an indoor pet and never left unattended outside.
